About Us

Since 2010, Bourbon City Bark Park volunteers have raised awareness
and funding for an off-leash dog park. Land was secured from the state
of Kentucky for the development of the dog park and the dog park has
been developed in phases. Presently the dog park includes the
following amenities:

  • Security System
  • Fencing
  • Landscaping
  • Small & Large Dog Areas
  • Park Signage
  • Benches
  • Water Stations
  • Waste Receptacles
  • Walking Paths
  • Agility Equipment
  • Gazebo
  • Doggy Splash Fountains

Our final construction phase will include a dog wash station.

We need your help to continue our work! Kindly consider volunteering your time and talents, or make a donation. Bourbon City Bark Park is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.

Our Overall Plan

As with the first phase, funds are needed to develop the park further. Bourbon City Bark Park volunteers and staff participate in fundraising activities year round to contribute to the park. Our non-profit organization depends on donations from the public to make the park a reality for our community. Below is the overall planned design for the park.
